Coming into college I was already a Christian, but I didn't know how to walk with the Lord. I knew I was supposed to go to church, but I didn't understand anything else that most Christians did. The Lord led me to Campus Outreach where I started discipleship. I slowly began to learn things like  how to read scripture, prayer, sharing the Gospel, and learning to fight sin that I had struggled with. I began to see a dramatic shift in how God views me and how much he loves and cares for me. I grew a much bigger heart for the students on my campus to experience the same joy I was experiencing. That's why I want to work for an organization like Campus Outreach. I want to see students rejoicing in Jesus rescuing them from their sin and teaching them to walk closely with Jesus.
